Bartlesville Back on Track: Sweeps BK
Both the Bartlesville basketball teams completed their third sweep of the season on Tuesday night in Tulsa.
The Lady Bruins and Bruins took care of Bishop Kelley. The Bartlesville girls won 50-17, while the Bruins won 58-48.
Both teams snapped losing streaks, the boys had lost three in a row while the girls had lost two consecutive matchups going into Tuesday.
On the ladies side, BHS led 21-11 at halftime before pouring it on in the second half. Jena' Williams led Bartlesville with 18.
For the boys, Bartlesville came out firing. The Bruins scored 42 points in the first half, and stalled against the Bishop Kelley zone to bleed out the victory in the second half.
Both teams next host Muskogee on Friday night on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
