Archambo's Summer Success Continues

A former Bruin baseball star is continuing to have stupendous in one of the nation’s most prestigious summer baseball leagues. A.J. Archambo earned the save for the Great Lakes team in the Northwoods League all-star game on Tuesday night. The right-hander got the final two outs of the game to secure the 5-2 victory.

Archambo has made his impact primarily as a starter for the Madison Mallards over the past several weeks. The former Bruin has posted 2-0 record with 4.93 ERA over 35 innings this summer. Archambo made a transition to the mound full-time during sophomore season at Oral Roberts this past spring.

The Mallard season runs through August 11.
