Another Sweep for Doenges Ford Indians

The Doenges Ford Indians are off to a 6-0 start to begin the summer, as the Indians have beat the Ada A’s in three straight double-headers to begin the year.

The Indian’s topped the A’s 16-4 and 8-6 last night from East Central University in Ada.

In game one it was another run-rule shortened victory for the Indians. They run-ruled the A’s three of the six times they played them. Lucas Reetfors had five-RBIs at the plate and Colt Wilson threw a complete four-inning contest on the bump.

In game two, things were a bit more dicey. The Indians fell behind 6-4 before retaking the lead in the top of the sixth. Max Gross had a call of the go-head RBI from Corey Murphy last night on KWON.

Murphy ended the day 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Lucas Reetfors had a good day on the mound in game two. He struck out six in 3 1/3 innings of work out of the bullpen.

UPDATED SCHEDULE

The Indian’s are right back on the horse this evening. It is another double-header, this time against Three-Rivers at Coweta High School. First pitch at 6:00 with a 5:55 pregame.

We will have that twin bill for you on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
