Crooked numbers are nice.

There have been plenty of big innings to go around for Bartlesville High baseball, as the Bruins have won three of their last four games. BHS put a hurtin’ on Muskogee Tuesday night, it beat the Roughers in a single-game 18-1. BHS scored an outrageous 16 runs in the top of the second inning. The game was called after a four-inning run rule.

The Bruins sent 22 men to the plate in the second inning, batted around twice, and then four more players batted three times in the frame.

KWON Intern John Cone led Bartlesville at the plate. He went 3-3 with four RBIs and a walk. Andrew Harden had three doubles offensively, as well. Noah Yearout went all four innings on the mound, gave up one run on two hits and struck out seven.

Bartlesville is 9-13 on the season – The Bruins are off until Thursday, when they have another road non-district game at Booker T. Washington.
