Adair Sweeps Dewey
Friday night was tough for the Dewey Bulldoggers and Lady Doggers as they both lost at Adair. Lady Doggers fell 71-30 while the Doggers lost 59-47.
In the girls game, it was all Adair from start to finish. Lady Warriors led 23-6 after the first period and never looked back. Karissa Jones led Dewey with eight points. The loss drops the Lady Doggers to a record of 6-13.
In the boys game, Dewey played a tight game against the Warriors for three periods. The game was tied at 41 a piece and that's when Adair pulled the game away. The Warriors began the fourth period on a 12-2 run and ended the game on an 18-8 run. Trenton Anderson led Dewey with 19 points, followed by Hunter Hines 13 points and Drew Miller added 11 points. The loss drops the Doggers to 11-8 this season.
Next up for the Doggers and Lady Doggers is this Tuesday evening as they will host Chelsea.
