2A, 3A, 4A Schools Set For Basketball Playoffs

High school basketball season is winding down in Oklahoma. The districts for 2A, 3A, and 4A are coming up on Friday, Feb. 20 and Saturday Feb. 20. That means local teams are in the postseason, and some are putting their season on the line. 

Boys:

In Class 2A the first round of districts is single-elimination. Local teams in action are Caney Valley vs. Commerce on Friday at 8:00. The winner of that game will face Oklahoma Union in the district championship game on Saturday at 8:00, the loser will be done for the season. 

In 3A the first round of districts is non-elimination. Nowata will be at Verdigris at 8:00 on Friday night. and Pawhuska will be at Chelsea at 8:00 on Friday night, as well. You can listen to that Huskies game online at BartlesvilleRadio.com, click on the KPGM link around 7:50. 

In 4A the first round of districts non-elimination. Dewey will be at Inola at 8:00 on Friday evening. You can listen to that game on KRIG 104.9 FM around 7:50. Also, Oologah-Talala will be hosting McLain on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 8:00.

Girls

In Class 2A the first round of districts is single-elimination. Oklahoma Union will be hosting Commerce at 6:30. The winner of that game will face Caney Valley at Oklahoma Union on Saturday at 6:30, the loser will be done for the season. 

In 3A the first round of districts is non-elimination. Pawhuska will be at Chelsea at 6:30. Also, Nowata will be at Verdigris at 6:30.

In 4A, the first round of districts is non-elimination. Dewey will be at Inola at 6:30. Also, Oologah-Talala is hosting McLain on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 6:30.
