The Sandy Koufax World Series is coming back to Bartlesville starting on Wednesday morning.

10 baseball teams from around the country will be embarking on Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. As the host city, Bartlesville automatically gets a bid to the tournament, which is where Adam Kimry comes in.

Kimry is coaching the 14-and-under Bartlesville Bruins for the second year in 2015. He runs down the players on the squad.

The Bruins are comprised of children from Bartlesville, Barnsdall, Caney Valley, Muskogee, Tulsa and other cities throughout Northeast Oklahoma.

The team  has been formed for the sole purpose of competing in the Sandy Koufax World Series. All the players played on other teams for their usual summer baseball. Try outs were held a couple of months ago for the squad, which has now been practicing several times a week in preparation for the tournament.

Kimry talks about his background in baseball and with the World Series.

Kimry says the experience for the players from Bartlesville and the surrounding area is second to none.
