A Bartlesville man who is accused of trying to kill a man is on the August 5th formal arraignment docket.  Tyler Lee Shea is charged with attempted first degree murder, burglary, and violation of a protective order.  Bartlesville police were called on a domestic disturbance at a home in the 500 block of Larchmont Drive.

According to a court affidavit, officers saw a man covered with blood on the porch and a woman was tending to his injuries.  The woman told the police that Shea came to her home, pounded the front door, and yelled at her to drop the protective order.  Shea reportedly got into her home, punched the man in the face, and stabbed him.  Shea was able to leave the area before officers arrived.  The police later stopped Shea on a traffic stop and found a small knife that was alleged to be used in the incident.

Bond remains at $500,000.
