Bartlesville Police investigators have interviewed most of the witnesses to the shooting death of 44-year-old Carl Ronald Rogers. Rogers was found dead on the street in the 700 block of NW Acorn early in the morning on Sunday, July 26th. Police responded to the call of a possible shooting at about 1:15 A.M. and arrived to find Rogers' body in the street. Investigators sent out a list of witnesses to local media earlier this week. As of Friday afternoon, police said they had spoken to all but two of the witnesses.

A 2012 GMC Terrain SUV that was seen near the time of the shooting was located on Wednesday. Police have collected evidence and information this week and say that it appears there was an argument in Douglass Park and the subjects involved, including Rogers, drove to Acorn Street where the shooting took place. No suspects have been named as of yet.
