Bartlesville Man Arrested For Having Weapon In Jail

A $50,000 bond has been set for a Bartlesville man who allegedly had a weapon in jail.  19-year old Jared Alexander Russell is charged with bringing a contraband into jail.  An officer found in Russell's possession a leatherman micra tool/knife.  According to a court affidavit, officers questioned Russell about how he got the knife.  Russell told the authorities he got the tool after he was incarcerated for nearly 10 days.  Reportedly, the suspect told officers he used the tool to make crosses out of old shirts and gives them out. 

Russell's next court date is July 10th.
