Celebrate Fourth of July Across Washington County

The Fourth of July is just days away and communities across Washington County are preparing to celebrate.

Bartlesville will be hosting their annual Freedom Fest on Saturday. There will be numerous events like a Dunk Tank and a Parade before the fireworks begin at 9:45 pm.

Wednesday, July 1, the Eastland Explosion fireworks show in Bartlesville will begin at 9:45 pm. Before the fireworks show there will be live music and dinner hosted at Highland Park Church.

The City of Dewey will begin their Fourth of July festivities on Saturday at 4 pm in Don Tyler Park. They will host activities for children with live music to start at 6 pm, a duck race at 8:30 pm, and the fireworks show at 9:45 pm.

Pawhuska will host Freedom Celebration on Saturday beginning with a parade at 9:30 am. There will be free hot dogs, apple pie, and water for guests.

Nowata will host their festivities on Saturday at 4:30 pm in Jack Gordon Park. They will host games, turtle races, an auction and fireworks at dusk.

These events encourage attendees to bring their own lawn chairs for the firework shows.
