Bartlesville City Council Calls Special Meeting

The Bartlesville City Council has called a special meeting to consider and take possible action on several public safety issues. Tuesday's agenda includes approval of a grant program contract for almost $20-thousand through the State Attorney General to pay overtime to police officers working to prevent violent crime through the Safe Oklahoma Grant Program. Other items on the agenda include:

 

Take action on the purchase of eight full-size pursuit vehicles and award a bid to Bob Moore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Tulsa, in the amount of $22,500 each.

Authorize City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with FOP Lodge 117 pertaining to employment of police officers.

Authorize City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with IAFF Local 200 pertaining to employment of firefighters.
