The Bartlesville Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual Legislative Wrap-up Forum Tuesday afternoon at Tri-County Technology Center in Bartlesville, giving the public an opportunity to hear from its representatives at the state legislature. Representative Travis Dunlap, Representative Earl Sears, and Senator John Ford attended and each gave a short description of the work they accomplished in the previous legislative session. The floor was then opened to give those in attendance a chance to ask questions of their representatives at the state level. Questions primarily dealt with funding, from transportation cuts possibly affecting the highway 60 widening project to asking for an economic forecast. For Senator John Ford who has attended eleven of these forums, this type of meeting is important because it helps him confirm that he is doing what he was elected to do.
