New Hires and Resignations During Dewey School Board Meeting

June's monthly Dewey Public School Board meeting did not last long Monday night, taking less than 15 minutes to address the 12 items on the agenda. The hiring of new personnel on temporary contracts and support employees was approved for the coming school year. Resignations were accepted from middle school principal, Leta Moreland and assistant principal, Jesse James, along with the resignations of two middle school teachers. The Board approved action adding to Superintendent Dr. David Wilkins duties. Wilkins said food management will be taken over by a private company and that the website will have anew manager.

The last meeting for the current school year takes place on June 30th at 12 P.M.
