The Monday morning meeting of the Osage County Board of County Commissioners was standard procedure. The Commissioners accepted bids for road oil, asphalt, sand, concrete, road and bridge items, grader blades, and rock. All bids were accepted for tabulator and will be awarded at the next meeting.

However, additionally this week the commissioners held a special meeting, where they voted and passed a disaster emergency proclamation for Osage County. The passed proclamation will mean Osage County can request state assistance regarding damages received over the past couple months of severe weather and heavy rains.

The Osage County Board of County Commissioners will meet again next Monday at 10am at the Osage County Courthouse in Pawhuska.
