You may experience a less water pressure and some discoloration of water early next week.  The City of Bartlesville Water Distribution Department will test and flush fire hydrants beginning Sunday night, April 5th.  The first area to be flushed will be from the railroad tracks going east to the Caney River, from 11th Street to northern city limits.  That work will start at 9 P.M. on Sunday until 6 A.M. on Monday.  The fire hydrant maintenance process will continue on Tuesday from the railroad tracks west to Sunset Boulevard, from 11th Street to the northern city limits and will include Oak Park.  The work will be done between 7 A.M. and 3 P.M. each day until the area is complete.  Contact the Water Utility Department for more information.
