Thousands of teachers, school administrators and parents plan to stage a rally at the State Capitol on Monday. The rally is in support of a “high quality teacher in every classroom and to create a common-sense testing culture in Oklahoma’s public schools” posted the website,http://www.okedcoalition.org/oked-rally.html  Locally, Nowata Public Schools will use the last available snow day to send a contingent. According to Jayme Ryan, BPSD Community Relations Coordinator, the last snow day will be used differently.  Good Friday is on April 3rd.  The Dewey Public School will also also use April 3rd as their final snow day.
