The Nowata Area Chamber of Commerce Banquet is just around the corner.  This year's event will be held on Thursday, April 9th at 6:30pm at the Hillside Christian Church Family Life Center.  The Chamber is taking nominations for the following: Citizen of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, and Beautification Business of the Year.  If you would like to make a nomination, send the nominee's name and contact information with a statement of why you would like to nominate and for what category.  Nominations need to be at the Chamber office by Wednesday, March 18th.  You can e-mail your nomination to nowatachambersbcglobal.net or mail to P.O Box 202, Nowata, Oklahoma 74048.
