A $40,000 bond has been set for a Bartlesville man who allegedly ran away from officers.  21-year old Nicholas Eugene Artherton is charged with domestic abuse assault and battery, eluding a police officer, and drug paraphernalia.  Bartlesville police were called to a home in the 4700 block of SE Harnard Place to investigate a possible domestic case.  According to a court affidavit, Artherton's wife told the police she was assaulted by the suspect and claimed Artherton was at a car wash on Nowata Road driving a red four-door pick.  Reportedly, Artherton was driving east on Adams Blvd. between 90-100 mph and went on a residential road going 40-50 mph.  Artherton has a case pending in Washington County on drug charges and was free on a $20,000 bond.  Artherton's next court date is January 14th.
