Voters have until 5 p.m. tomorrow, August 17, to request a mail absentee ballot for the August 23 Runoff Primary Election. According to Oklahoma State Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax, completed absentee ballots must be received by mail at county election boards by 7 p.m. on election day.

In-person absentee voting will begin on Thursday. In-person voting will be available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday where the elections will be held on the 23rd.

Voters can apply for absentee ballots on the Oklahoma Election Board’s website at elections.ok.gov. The forms can also be downloaded from the site, or picked up from any of the state’s county election boards.
