Morris Faces Drug And Weapons Charges

A Bartlesville man who was arrested for drug and weapons violations faced his first court appearance Friday afternoon.  26-year old Ruben Kyle Morris is charged with possession of amphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of drug proceeds.  According to a court affidavit, Bartlesville police department's drug task force served a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of SW Kaw Street.  Officer's searched inside the home and found large amounts of meth, cocaine, marijuana, two guns, two bullet proof vest, and cash from drug proceeds.  Reportedly, Morris had $1,370 in cash in his wallet.  The total street value for the drugs was $1,300.  Morris' next court date is June 27th.  Bond was set at $75,000.
