Yvonne House, Secretary of the Washington County Election Board reminds voters in Washington County who want to vote by absentee ballot in the November 4, 2014, General Election and Regular Municipal Election for the City of Bartlesville in Wards 2 and 3 have until October 29 at 5 pm to apply.
 
House said any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot for any election he or she is eligible to vote.  A voter must be registered at an address within the geographical boundaries of a municipality to be eligible to vote in the municipalities election.
 
As an alternative to voting mail absentee, voters can receive and cast a ballot by going to the County Election Board Office on Thursday, October 30, from 8 am to 6 pm, Friday, October 31, from 8 am to 6 pm or Saturday, November 1, from 9 am to 1 pm.  A 2-member bipartisan absentee voting board will be on duty each day to assist in-person absentee voters.
