Barnsdall Water Scare
The City of Barnsdall had a water scare Monday afternoon. At about 2:45 Monday, officials from the Barnsdall water plant announced that a leak was causing the city to lose water and the city had anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes of water left. Crews were manually checking all water lines, both in and out of the city until 3:15 when the leak was believed to be found. At that time Kathy Brown of the Barnsdall Water Plant informed Bartlesville Radio that once the leak was completely isolated, water would slowly be turned back on for the city but pressure would be low. Brown anticipates that by Monday evening water should be back for the majority of Barnsdall and by Tuesday morning water conditions could be back to normal.
