Washington County Accident Injures Driver
A Tulsa man was admitted to Tulsa's St. John's Hospital in stable condition with injuries he sustained in a Saturday morning accident 4 miles south of Bartlesville. The accident report indicates 29 year-old Kenneth Dulan was northbound on U. S. 75 when his car went off the roadway to the left and hit a tree. The car then went airborne and turned over in the air half way over and landed in the Caney River on its top. Dulan was able to get out of the car and walk about 2 miles to call for help. Dulan told authorities that he fell asleep at the wheel, but the trooper noticed an odor of alcohol on his breath. The accident report shows inattentive driving as the cause of the accident.
