More Air Service

The Associated Press
City officials in Tulsa are joining with business officials and airport officials in an effort to bring more airline service and more non-stop flights to and from Tulsa International Airport.
The initiative was announced Tuesday by Mayor Dewey Bartlett with business leaders and officials from the Chambers of Commerce in Tulsa, Bartlesville and Broken Arrow.
The group says one of the first steps is to survey area businesses about their current and projected travel needs.
The Tulsa airport is currently served by American, Delta, Southwest and United airlines. There are currently non-stop flights to and from Tulsa to 18 airports in 15 cities nationwide.
