Rotary Students Named

Bartlesville High School students Meagan Morrow and Stephen Cochran have been named Rotary Students of the Month for the month of April.
Morrow is the daughter of Warren and Kathy Morrow. Throughout her time at Bartlesville High School, Morrow has been involved in a variety of theatrical productions. She was a cast member of “The Drowsy Chaperone,” “My Fair Lady,” “Suessical,” and “Our Town.” Morrow also served as a technician on “Nunsense” and “Hamlet.” Morrow is involved with a number of other activities including the BHS Jazz Choir, Choir Council and the BHS Gay-Straight Alliance. Outside of school, Morrow is part of the Cherokee Tribal Youth Council and she served as an intern for OK Mozart. Her plans are to attend Southwestern College in Kansas to major in Theater.
Stephen Cochran is the son Craig and Terri Cochran. In his time at BHS, Cochran participated in football and basketball. In 2012, he was the starting quarterback for the varsity football team. Cochran is a member of BHS National Honor Society. He is also part of K-Life. Additionally, he has volunteered with local programs including Bruin Buddies and the Washington County School Supply Drive. In his free time, Stephen enjoys sports and technology.
The Rotary students of the month- both seniors and juniors are eligible- are chosen by a committee of BHS teachers. The student should be of high moral character, have initiative, show leadership capabilities, be a good student, and be active and interested in their school and community.
One female and one male are selected each month from September through May.
