Bartlesville Man Arrested For Drug Violations

A Bartlesville man stopped for a traffic violation was arrested on drug charges. 60-year old Harold Evon Lewis is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and failure to use a seatbelt. Bartlesville police conducted a traffic stop on Cholwell Avenue and noticed the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. According to a court affidavit, a K-9 officer indicated the presence of drugs and found 10 grams of meth in the trunk. Reportedly, officers found scales and 96 small zip-lock bags inside the trunk. Lewis' next court date is April 17th. Bond was set at $25,000.
