A special meeting of the Trustees of the Washington County Public Facilities Authority will be held on Tuesday, April 6th, at 5:00 p.m. on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 400 S. Johnstone Avenue in downtown Bartlesville.

Washington County Commissioner and Authority Chairman Mike Bouvier explained that the meeting will bring together the trustees that will look to help with the creation of a new Washington County Event Center. He said they'll look to establish the Trust Indenture.

Trustees will be sworn-in during the meeting. Discussion regarding the role and responsibility of the trustees will also be held after a Vice-Chair and Treasurer are elected.

A contract for services between the Washington County Public Facilities Authority and Stroman & Associates; and ratification of the same approved by the Washington County Commissioners, may be approved by the Authority. Lastly, an Interlocal Cooperation Act agreement between the Authority and the Commissioners relating to funding start-up costs for the newly proposed County Fairgrounds Project may be approved.

The Washington County Commissioners approved an interlocal agreement on Monday morning to transfer funds between themselves and the Washington County Public Facilities Authority. Commissioner Bouvier said they approved the transfer of $20,000 to the Authority. He said more money will be transferred later as needed.
