City of Bartlesville Makes Last Push for G.O. Bond and CIP Tax Extension on COMMUNITY CONNECTION

The City of Bartlesville special election to decide a proposed 2020 General Obligation Bond and extension of the half-cent Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) sales tax is officially is Tuesday, August 25.
 
City Manager Mike Bailey, City Engineering and Water Utilities Director Terry Lauritsen and City Director of Engineering Michah Seimers joined us Monday morning on COMMUNITY CONNECTION for one last push to urge voters to approve the proposed 2020 General Obligation Bond and extension of the half-cent Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) sales tax.  
 
Approval of the measures will result in funding for nearly $30 million for the city's capital projects over the next several years — without increasing taxes for Bartlesville residents.

Public Safety Buildings and Equipment ($3,993,000)
 
Proposition No. 2
Municipal Buildings and Equipment ($1,408,000)
 
Proposition No. 3
Streets and Bridges ($8,274,000)

Proposition No. 5
Half-cent Capital Improvement Projects sales tax extension (projects totaling $13.7 million)
