The Washington County Commissioners discussed an independent contractor agreement for on-call services from Guy Engineering for the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 on Monday.

District One Commissioner Mitch Antle said there is no cost to the annual contract for on-call services. He said he would recommend and encourage any engineering firm that wants to give the Washington County Commissioners an on-call rate quote to establish an annual contract

That will give the Washington County Commissioners the latitude to call whomever they want to call for on-call services. Commissioner Antle said they have done something similar to the agreement with Guy Engineering with Kellogg Engineering in the past.

The independent contractor agreement for on-call services from Guy Engineering for the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 would be approved by the Washington County Commissioners. This comes at a time when Rebecca Alvarez has become the principal owner of Guy Engineering.
