Marsha Stark with the Washington County Clerk's Office is retiring from her post after nearly 12-years of service.

Stark started working for Washington County in 2008. She worked in the Washington County Court Clerk's Office for three years before she moved to the building next door to serve with the Clerk's Office for eight and a half years.

Chairman of the Board of Washington County Commissioners Mike Dunlap said Stark was a pleasure to work with and that she always took care of Washington County's residents in the Clerk's Office. He thanked Stark for her service on behalf of the Commissioners.

A book on Washington County's history and a card were presented to Stark in the Washington County Commissioners' meeting on Tuesday. Stark is moving to Tahlequah to be closer to her grandchildren.
