Pawhuska and Oklahoma Union Prepare to Face Off
The Pawhuska Huskies are going to square off against the Oklahoma Union Cougars Friday evening from Ormond-Beach Memorial Stadium in Pawhuska and this will be a battle of two area teams.
The Huskies are 9-1 with their one loss coming against Pawnee last week. Coach Matt Hennesy told his team it was important to put that loss behind them and begin preparing for a good Oklahoma Union team.
Pawhuska defeated Oklahoma Union when the teams played earlier in the season, winning that game 60-18. Since that loss however, the Cougars are 6-2 and have outscored their opponents 256-100. Oklahoma Union mirrors Pawhuska’s spread offense and head coach Stephen Trammel believes we could see a different outcome Friday evening.
Because this is an OSSAA sanctioned event there will be no reserved seating and nobody will be allowed in the stadium before 5:30.
That game can be heard on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1. Pregame will start around 6:50 p.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 7.
