At 4:15 on Monday morning, emergency personnel attended to a small mobile home fire in Dewey.

The Dewey Fire and Police Departments were paged out to a call where there was heavy smoke in the mobile home. Once at the scene, Dewey Fire made a quick attack to knock out the fire.

The occupant of the mobile home was already outside when the fire took place, but their pet was still inside the home. That pet was retrieved and is in good condition.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Bartlesville Ambulance Service assisted with the matter. The fire incident has since been turned over to the American Red Cross.
