It’s a family-friendly fun way to celebrate Independence Day in Bartlesville and the Kiwanis-sponsored Freedom Fest will also recognize out military veterans with some VIP treatment.

On top of the hotdog eating contest at 5:30 on the 4th downtown, Freedom Fest officially kickoff at 7pm with free entertainment on the stage, a kids zone, food trucks and a special recognition of out men and women who have served in the armed forces.

Freedom Fest co-chair Nathan Thompson tells KWON our vets will be recognized on stage at the event.

As a bonus to our vets, those who show any form of military ID can enter for the chance to win VIP seating for the fireworks at 9:45 at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium in air-conditioned comfort.
