Melissa Thornbrugh was sworn-in Monday morning by Washington County Clerk Annette Smith. Thornbrugh will remain as the County’s Treasurer for 4 more years.

That took place at the Washington County Commissioners’ Meeting. The Commissioners would go on to approve construction plans for a 135-foot bridge. Kellogg Engineering Inc. presented the plans to the Commissioners.

The projected $1.1 million Green Lake Bridge project will go out for bid in November. The bridge is located one mile west of the Rogers County line and one mile north of the Tulsa County Line.

The Washington County Commissioners also approved a parking agreement with the Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma on behalf of Rogers State University in Bartlesville for the new 2019-2020 Fiscal Year.
