One game was completed at the Bartlesville Area Amateur Baseball tournament before rain and storms interrupted play on day two. The game that went final was Safari Smiles defeating Copan 11-10 in an elimination game. On the other side of the loser’s bracket Nowata forfeited which allowed Remax to advance.

In the later slate, United Linen took a 1-0 lead on Oilfield Pipe & Supply before play was suspended in the winner’s bracket game. The winner of that game clinches a spot in Thursday’s finals. That game will resume at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.  Safari Smiles and Remax also had just gotten underway once rain hit the area. That game is tentatively set to restart on Wednesday at 6 p.m. pending field conditions.

Wednesday was a scheduled off-day so the tournament from this point on will not be effected at this time. We will have continued radio coverage of the winner’s bracket game on Sportstalk 1500 AM—99.1 FM KPGM.
