City of Bartlesville Reviewing Recycling Survey Outline

Bartlesville's Public Works Director Keith Henry said Monday that the City of Bartlesville will be releasing its recycling survey to Bartlesville residents soon. Henry said the 12 question survey is currently in hand for review.

According to Henry, the survey will ask you what services you would like to see the City of Bartlesville offer and how much you would be willing to pay for those services. He said it will ask if you like the services they have and if you would like to expand to a curbside recycling program as well.

But as awful as it is, everything comes at a cost. Henry said the Bartlesville Recycling Center currently operates under $50,000 to $100,000. He said this is why the survey will ask if you will be willing to pay more for recycling services. That, however, is only a fraction of what the survey will ask.

Questions regarding the City's coupon program, their leaf and grass collection program will be on the survey. Henry said he also gets questions about whether or not Bartlesville has a "Green Waste Disposable Site." He said the City does not have a program like that but the survey will ask if you would be interested in such a program. That of course will come at a cost too.

The City of Bartlesville hopes to have the survey out to you in a month. They will send a link in an upcoming water bill that will direct you to the survey. The City of Bartlesville plans on using Survey Monkey so you and others can only take the survey once.
