A Ramona man was back in court after another alleged violent incident. Willis Harris was charged with a count of aggravated assault and battery for an incident that took place in early February. Harris appeared in custody at the Washington County Courthouse on Tuesday.

According to an affidavit, a female victim claims that she was in a dating relationship with Harris. The woman was washing dishes when Harris approached her and punched her in the nose. An x-ray later showed that her nose was broken. Charges in the incident were not filed until Tuesday despite the incident taking place on February 5.

Harris was previously charged for an incident on February 11 in which he allegedly threatened to stab and kill a different woman. Harris was also later charged after spitting on the jailer.

Bond for Harris was set at $25,000. He is due back in court on Friday.
