Bartlesville Man Charged with Meth Trafficking

A Bartlesville man was arrested after a special operations raid of a house on South Johnstone Avenue produced a large amount of methamphetamine. Derek Bock appeared at the Washington County Courthouse facing a felony charge of methamphetamine trafficking. Bock was arrested on warrant after the search of his residence on January 15.

According to an affidavit, the special operations team executed a search warrant on Bock’s residence based on an anonymous tip from a previous case. Officers found several items of drug paraphernalia while searching the residence.

A locked safe was found in upstairs bedroom. Officers used a screwdriver to pry the safe open. The safe contained several things including a plastic bag containing approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine. Also found were several unused Ziploc bags, a digital scale and a small amount of marijuana as well.

Bock saw his bon set at $50,000. He is due back in court on March 22.
