The Washington County Commissioners tabled an agreement with the Washington County Courthouse Building Commission on Monday morning. The agreement was in relation to the desire to build a parking lot between the County Administrative Building and the County Courthouse.

Chairman Mitch Antle said they should table the agreement but accept the general warranty deed for the parking. The agreement read that 32 parking spots would be allocated by the Building Commission up to its dissolution, if it ever were to dissolve, to the district judge. Antle said he was fine with it but the total number for the parking has him askew. He said once it dissolves, it would be the district judge that has a say in their control. That lead Antle to ask how they would have control of the property's allocation if they have no control of the property.

The commissioners will continue to discuss the parking agreement with the Washington County Courthouse Building Commission. The item will be acknowledged next week.
