An 18-year-old Bartlesville man was arrested after officers recovered 133 grams of marijuana in his possession. Cale Remington appeared at the Washington County Courthouse on Friday facing a felony charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to an affidavit, Remington’s Chevy truck was pulled over for having a defective third brake light on Thursday afternoon. An officer approached and immediately noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle produced a backpack that contained a digital scale with marijuana residue on it. Also, underneath the middle seat were two Ziploc bags containing 131 grams of marijuana. An envelope in the backpack also held two grams.

Remington saw his bond set at $3,500. His return court date is set for April 12.
