The Bartlesville Police Department is investigating an overnight hit and run accident that occurred late Wednesday and early Thursday morning on 9th and Dewey.

Police Captain Jay Hastings said Thursday the driver of a white vehicle hit a parked car. That caused the driver's vehicle to flip over on its side. Hastings also said that the driver then fled the scene.

There was a passenger in the flipped vehicle who received minor injuries in the hit and run accident. The parked car was unoccupied.

Bartlesville Police are now looking to question 18-year-old Treyson Eric Chapman in reference to the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bartlesville Police Department at 918.338.4001.
