Rogers State University in Claremore will hold another Elevate Young Adult Summit this summer. This is an annual event envisioned in 2009 by the members of the Governor's Council for Economic and Workforce Development and Leadership of the Northeast Workforce Board. They focus on presenting career and educational opportunities to over 250 young adults aged 16 to 24 in Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers and Washington counties.

This year's Elevate Young Adult Summit will be led by professional speaker and leadership expert Bill Cordes. Bill will explore the employability skills needed to succeed in the work place through engaging and hands-on learning. Industry experts will also be available to answer questions about specific career pathways including manufacturing, business, healthcare and the automotive industry.

The Elevate Young Adult Summit will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11 at Rogers State University in Claremore. For more information, call Michelle Bish at 918.907.0902.
