Commissioners Award Bids for Surplus Patrol Vehicles

The Washington County Commissioners started their Monday morning meeting bright and early. They waited for bidding to start for the sale of several surplus patrol vehicles from the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

 

Before the 10 o'clock bidding took place, the commissioner's took care of other business. They approved the Washington County Treasure's transcript of proceeding on a sale of property acquired at a June resale. They also approved the current investments report and the postage usage report for the month of February from the Treasure's Office.

 

Then the bidding took place for the surplus patrol vehicles. Unit 1 was sold to a Miss Castillo. Units 2, 5 and 6 was sold to Ron Tate Auto Sales. Units 3 and 4 went to Tee's Auto.
