In the Bartlesville Development Authority meeting on Wednesday morning, the authority took action to recommend to the Bartlesville City Council to appropriate $150,000. The money would come from the Economic Development Fund and would be used for a forgivable loan to Custom Moldings Services to facilitate the purchase and move into the former Voice of the Martyrs warehouse.

Before the item was approved, Bartlesville Development President David Wood was asked about the timeline for this item. He said the timeline is a quick one. It was so quick at first that it originally wouldn't have made it to the Bartlesville City Council on Monday. They slowed things down a bit so they could get the recommendation to the City Council. Wood said he believes they're within a thirty day close if not closer.

Wood said he's excited to see a building on the west side of Bartlesville being put to good use again. The former Voice of the Martyrs warehouse is located at 510 W. Adeline. The recommendation for the $150,000 forgivable loan from the Economic Development Fund will be reviewed by the City Council during their regular meeting on Monday, March 4.
