BPD Update on Frida's Burglary

Bartlesville Police Captain Jay Hastings has update to alleged burglary incident that took place on Monday night. The incident took place at Frida’s Cocina Mexicana on Madison Boulevard in Bartlesville.

Hastings said in a statement, “The burglary occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Monday evening. Entry was made by kicking in the back door of the business. There is video footage the owners of the restaurant have put on Facebook. The video shows to subjects wearing hoodies inside the business. Approximately 10 bottles of liquor were stolen from the business. No one was in the restaurant when the break in occurred.

 The same night, just down the street, someone threw a brick through the front glass door of Coles Rental store located in the 900 block of SE Madison. Entry into the business was not made at this location.”

If anyone has information on who may have committed this crime they are asked to call Washington County Area Crime Stoppers or the Bartlesville Police Detective Division at 918-338-4015.
