On the heels of last season’s national semifinal appearance, Oklahoma Wesleyan’s men’s soccer team will take the field on Tuesday for the first time with a home exhibition contest against Rogers State University. This is the first of two exhibition matches for the Eagles with a scheduled bout with Oklahoma Baptist set for Friday.

The Eagles are projected for greatness yet again as they’ve already been tabbed the top team in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference preseason poll. OKWU also came in at No. 3 in NAIA preseason coach’s poll that was released last week.

Peterson says depth will be a strength of this year’s team.

The Eagles exhibition with the Hillcats is set for 7 p.m. just off Silverlake Road in Bartlesville.
