The Dewey School Board met on Monday evening in the McCary Conference Room where they received a report regarding the Fiscal Year 2017 audit. It was explained that there was not anything that stands out about the audit, and no news is good news here.

The board also received reports from the middle and high school regarding drop outs. 5 students dropped out of the high school in the last year, and none from the middle school dropped out.

All other items in the meeting were approved, including the hiring on a new bus driver for the 2017-2018 school year. No word was said about any of the recent health concerns, although Superintendent Vince Vincent did stay after the meeting to speak and meet with concerned parents.
