A family dispute earlier this week led to the arrest of a Bartlesville woman. Doneka Brown stood before judge at the Washington County courthouse on Tuesday facing a misdemeanor charge of domestic abuse.

According to an affidavit, an officer was dispatched to the scene where Brown allegedly punched her mother in the face. Brown’s mother claims she was punched in the face while sitting in a car with the door open. The officer observed a bloody tissue being held by the victim and a scratch her on her face.

Brown had her bond set at $1,500 and her next court date is set for December 11.
