The Washington County Board of Commissioners met at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday morning to approve six-month road material bids for each district. The commissioners then approved several forms for continuing road projects.

During the Commissioners' Report, Commissioner Mitch Antle spoke with Grand Gateway about future plans, and it was mentioned that a future survey was coming to help aid the Washington County Transportation Plan, and they would need every citizen to fill out the brief survey. We will have more information as it becomes available.

The commissioners acknowledged a resolution from Nowata county regarding the acquisition of vehicles from the sheriffs office towards the end of the meeting. All other items were approved. The Washington County Board of Commissioners will meet again next Monday morning at 9 as it will be their first of the month meeting.
